Why I offer short term help only

I am not simply helping parents with childcare. I am offering something that many young, ambitious couples may desperately need: an experienced, reassuring adult who can step in when their support network and own families are far away.

And because I am around the age of their parents, I can offer a very special combination of professional childcare expertise, warmth and practical wisdom — without becoming their permanent nanny or substitute grandmother.

Young first-time parents. Big careers. No family nearby.

My ideal customers are

• Young couples having their first baby.

• Both beginning or developing demanding professional careers, starting their own business or Mum returning to work.

• Living in Ireland while their own parents and extended families are abroad, far away or not available.

• Wanting to be loving, confident parents without sacrificing their professional ambitions.

• Needing practical support, reassurance and someone experienced to help them find their feet.

They may be doctors, lawyers, executives, entrepreneurs or other professionals. The common thread is not their job title — it is that they are building a family and a career at the same time, without their usual family support network.

I am used to adjust to different households needs and to respect the routines and boundaries the parents want, or to bring clarity if/when they don't know it yet.

When family is far away, a helping hand can make all the difference.

Becoming a parent for the first time is an extraordinary journey.

But when you are building your career at the same time, and your own family is far away, those first months and years can feel overwhelming.

You may have questions, doubts, sleepless nights and moments when you simply wish someone experienced could step in and help.

That is where I come in.

With many years of hands-on childcare experience and a passion for supporting parents, I offer short-term, personalised family support in your own home.

I help you find your feet as first-time parents, build confidence in your own abilities and discover practical solutions that work for your family.

Whether you are welcoming your first baby, preparing to return to work or looking for a childcare arrangement that fits your professional life, I am here to offer a reassuring presence and a helping hand.

But my role is not to become your permanent nanny or to replace your family.

My goal is to help you feel confident enough to manage the next chapter without me.
